The water cycle, an integral part of our world. Through the study of the water cycle we learn how water cycles through various stages, each interrelated. We also learn about the states of matter and how the states of matter can change. Included in this study are explorations of the concept of a freezing and boiling point, and how these relate to changes in the states of matter.

When we study the water cycle, we learn about the interrelation of processes that create and sustain life on our world.
