Energy
We
are deep into our Energy Unit of study and have just completed our exploration
of light.
One of the most fun types of energy to study is sound. Our recent activity was to build your own musical instruments! You will learn a great deal about how different materials vibrate to produce sound, and you'll have fun! In class you were provided a sheet with ideas for different homemade instruments. Also feel free to invent or create your own. This activity is designed for you to have fun. Bring your homemade instrument back to class so that you may demonstrate it as part of our study of sound energy.
Maybe you'd like to become an energy expert! You may choose to do a research project about a form of energy of your choice. When we learn about that form of energy in class, your hand will be flying through the air to volunteer all you know.
