Hi I'm Mrs. Zucchetto. This is my seventeenth year teaching elementary school science but I have been an elementary school teacher for almost 28 years. I really enjoy working with young children and teaching science. My young students are enthusiastic and very curious about the world around them. They are natural scientists. Together we explore life cycles, earth science, physics, astronomy and so much more! It is a great joy for me to observe the wonder and excitement in my students' eyes as they have their "EUREKA" moments of discovery. The moment the light bulb lights in a closed circuit is always a thrill when it happens for the first time. I know my students share my passion because they think about our lessons when they leave the lab. During my lunchtime, my students visit to share the latest rock or bug discovery in the schoolyard. It touches my heart to witness how much they care about their environment and endangered animals. Our Earth Day campaigns are always a success. I take particular enjoyment to see how the participants of the Young Inventors Program solve an everyday problem with an original invention. There is always something interesting happening in the Science lab because Science is so interesting!
